License now, no permit

I passed the rider's part of my motorcycle license tonight. I went and took the driving test at Washington. I was a nervous wreck, a friend went along and that made it a little easier. Until half way there they mentioned they came to this same place to take this test and waited in line, signed up and everything. Someone else dropped their bike right there on the course, needless to say friend walked away immediately saying " I cant do this either". The guy was nice enough to work me into his schedule.... Thanks to Gary Williams (lil Gary) that is... I am really ready to ride now

Taylor Swift

We got Laken and Chloe concert tickets for Valentines Day to see Taylor Swift. It was great! The girls loved it! She walked out in the crowd and Ryan put Chloe on his shoulders and she was about 10 feet away from her. Chloe's eyes were sooo big!

Dad took Laken turkey hunting for her first time this past weekend. She didnt get one, unfortunately but she did see 7 or 8 and she had a blast. Plus she found mushrooms too!

Prayer for strength request

Please pray for my brother, he has got a rough day ahead of him tomorrow. Really dont want to go into details just send prayers Jason's way please. Not just for Jason but his family also. Thanks, a concerned sis.

Turkey Hunt

This weekend was turkey season for the youth hunters. Dad took Laken, she stayed up there 3 nights in a row. 1st night to get her gun sighted in and the other 2 so they could get up before daylight. On Saturday they actually saw 7 or 8 but couldnt get a good shot. This morning they did go back to woods but it rained them out. They didnt see any turkeys today. Dad said they had so much fun they were laying in the grass laughing. They did find some mushrooms, and I am glad Laken got to spend quality time with dad. I am sure she will never forget her first turkey hunt!
She informed me she is leaving her camo and boots at Papaws because they are still going hunting, season comes in this Wed. or Thurs for everyone so maybe they will get one, if so I will post it!!!

FireProof your Marriage

We rented the movie "Fireproof" and watched it Sat. & Sun. it is a great movie. I am hooked, I really hope everyone takes time out to see this, especially those with struggling marriages. Virginia trip with my hubby

Well I took off this week to spend spring break with my girls. Chloe ends up sick all week and has been doing breathing tx three times daily. Laken is bored and mad because Chloes sick. They wanted to go to French Lick to new water park but we are goin to have to do that when sis is feeling better.

Ryan found out last minute he was goin to Va & Kentucky for work so I rode along. Mom babysitted for me, and I am glad I went. It was beautiful, you can see from my pics how pretty the Appalachian Mts are. Maybe girls can go on road trip with him too, when their off school sometime...Enjoy my pics

Design website help!!!

Does anyone have any pointers on creating a website? I would prefer it to be free. I have been looking into this for a couple weeks, so I know there are free web hosting available. I am just not too sure how it all works. Any ideas would be greatful. I am Sec. of Abate in Martin County so I decided to take this task on. I am thinking maybe this was a little too much for me. Just asking...Have a great day! All the sunshine and then some rain, the mushrooms will be popping up before too long! Yum, Yum...

1st day of Spring Break

Laken, Aundie, Jasie, Chloe & Hunter rode the 4-wheeler around the yard while they visited with Gma and Gpa Sipes. It was nice weather and all the kiddos enjoyed it!

French Lick

We spent the weekend with my aunt and uncle @ French Lick, only coming home to sleep. She is having Ryan to remodel her kitchen, so I decided to help to make it go faster since hes starting a new job Monday. We ripped out all the kitchen cabinets, primered & painted the walls. She picked this real pretty mustard yellow color. It's very country looking. I have before pics and I will post them later when I get the after pics. Gosh I cant wait to get back to my regular job to rest, lol! I am so thankful it was such nice weather, the girls enjoyed it!

Tornado hits my friends house...prayers please

I got a phone call from my bestest bud today in the early evening. It was Heather and she was crying. She said she was trying to reach my mom and dad but couldnt get ahold of them. I asked her what was the matter and she went on to tell me that her and the boys needed a place to stay. I asked her if she forgot to pay her electric bill or rent or what? (something we have in common, always broke lol) she said no that a tornado had hit her house. I wont go into detail but her and the boys were in the bathtub because she thought it was starting to get really bad out! The entire roof off the back of the house was gone.... We got all her groceries out of fridge and personal belongings and she is staying with my parents again...Please pray for Heather and boys. She lives between Williams and Fayettville. I am sure there will be alot of news coverage on this area.
